Nicola Denzey Lewis is Professor of Classics at Cornell University. The author of four books and numerous articles, Denzey Lewis specializes in the intellectual and social history of Rome from the 2nd to the 4th centuries, particularly the Christian movements known as “Gnosticism.” A popular lecturer, her work has been celebrated both nationally and internationally. With a teaching career that has brought her to a range of institutions from Bowdoin College to Harvard, Denzey Lewis is regularly featured on television, including CNN, NBC, and the History Channel.
